An informational meeting will be held for district members who are interested in pursuing a role as a district officer for the 2010-2011 fiscal year. Area D26 will present the Table Topics and International Speech contests at the Islamic Cultural Center of Northern California, 1433 Madison Street, Oakland. (Map) The contest will be held in the large assembly room, upstairs.

There is a parking lot, and curbside parking is available.

The facility is 5 blocks northeast of Lake Merritt BART, 7 blocks south of Oakland City Center-12th Street BART.

Snacks, beverages, and a light dinner will be served. Potluck contributions are encouraged!

District 57 Spring Conference

The District 57 Spring Conference will be held at the California Maritime Academy, 200 Maritime Academy Dr, Vallejo, CA (Map).

The District Executive Committee Meeting and the District Council Meeting will be held as the first order of business. All club officers and district officers are to attend. If officers cannot attend, please be certain that you send proxies with another member of your club or mail them to your Division Governor well in advance of the conference. We will elect district officers and approve the realignment of clubs at this important business meeting.
